Trying to get to us on public transport? There are lots of options...

Bus: Route 164 stops directly outside MPBC at Merton Park Baptist Church bus stop. Alternatively, routes 163, 152 and K5 stop approximately 200 m away at Wimbledon Chase Station or Lower Downs Road bus stops. PLEASE NOTE: the K5 does not run on Sundays, and is only useful for accessing the church Monday-Saturday.

Train: Closest station is Wimbledon Chase, around 200 m away and served by the Thameslink Sutton-St Albans via Wimbledon service. Raynes Park station is also nearby, served by many South Western services. From Raynes Park station you will need to take the 152 to Lower Downs Road bus stop, this being about 200 m away.
Note that there is a Thameslink Sutton-St Albans service via Mitcham Junction which WILL NOT take you to the right place. You must use the service that is via Wimbledon. Please check before you travel as there is often engineering work on this line on Sundays, resulting in a reduced service.

Tube: Closest tube stations are Morden and South Wimbledon on the Northern line, both approximately 1 mile away. The walk takes about 30 mins, alternatively you can take the 163 or 164 from Morden or the 152 from South Wimbledon. You can also use the District line to Wimbledon, but will need to take the 163 or 164 from Wimbledon Station to the church.

Car: We have a car park with a limited number of spaces and two disabled bays (no Blue Badge required). Where possible, we encourage you to walk or take public transport in order to leave the car park available for those who need it most. Access is from Botsford Road, which is just off Bushey Road, A298. If you are using a satnav or other GPS, use the postcode SW20 9NP or what3words ///dates.cases.full. The church's postcode will very unhelpfully not take you to the right place.

It is common for there to be engineering works and other disruption to public transport on Sundays, resulting in a reduced service. These services will also be subject to closure on public holidays such as Easter Day and Christmas Day. Always check before you travel, for example at https://tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/ which provides service updates on tube, train and bus services.
